The Name
In ancient Babylon, a shedu was a guardian placed at the gates of temples and cities — a protector standing watch over what mattered most.
That is the whole idea.
AI is being handed real authority over real work. We think that authority needs a guardian standing at the gate — something that checks the work, keeps the record, and answers to a person.
What We Build
One idea, four forms.
A governed harness that puts every AI-authored change through independent review. Nabu, an intention protocol that keeps a model tied to what is actually true. A business suite that orchestrates the daily operations of a working company. And a game, built inside the same governed loop to prove it holds under real production work.
Shedu started in the trades, where the cost of disconnected software is measured in wasted drive time and missed calls. That remains one slice of the work — and the same principles hold anywhere people are handing consequential decisions to a machine.
